Join us on this tour exploring the charming town of Redondo, located just 35 minutes from Évora. We will start the tour in the Praça da República (Town Square), the heart of Redondo. Here you will have a chance to learn a little about the town and immerse yourself in the local ambiance.

From there, we will hop across the street to the Wine Museum (Museu Regional do Vinho), which showcases the rich winemaking heritage of the region.

From the Wine Museum we will walk to the Clay Museum (Museu do Barro), located in the town center. We will delve into Redondo’s renowned pottery industry (Clube UNESCO Olaria Tradicional de Redondo), which spans from prehistory to modern times. You will get a chance to admire the exquisite ceramic pieces crafted by local artisans.

We will then wander the charming streets of Redondo’s Historic Centre. Here you will have a chance to admire the traditional whitewashed houses. From here we will admire the Castle of Redondo, a historic fortress that offers captivating views of the town. We will explore the castle’s ancient walls and briefly discuss the history of the region.
After this, we will make our way back to the Town Square where we would be delighted to provide suggestions of additional sights to see in and around town.
